Billy Joe Storseth 44
January 13, 2017, in Granbury, Texas, in his sleep.
Born in Amarillo, Texas, Billy Joe was the last survivor of eight siblings. In 1946, he married Frances “Jean” Barnes, who preceded him in death in 2016.
Bill graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in petroleum engineering and had a very successful career in the oil business. Proud to have served in World War II, he attended аÄ×ÊÁÏ’s Army Premeteorology Program.
In 1972, Bill and Jean moved from Oklahoma to Houston, where they lived for more than 40 years before relocating to Granbury, Texas, to be close to their daughter, Nancy. Jean died in 2016. Bill is survived by his two daughters, Vicki Storseth Cronin and Nancy Storseth McDonald.
